On Wednesday the 21st May, at 7.00pm there will be the prize-giving ceremony for the second international edition of the videogame contest Three Headed Monkey Awards.Social Point At this event the winners of the contest will be announced: Best Videogame Award, UPC Award, and the Audience Award, selected among all the indie and amateur projects participating in the contest, more than 34 in total.

The prize-giving ceremony will feature two prominent keynote speakers from the videogame and digital animation industries:

  • ANDREU TABERNER, the founder of Creatiulab creator of Stubies. At this conference he will talk about the adventure of creating the game for iOS called Stubies, together with another Catalan creator, Lukas Bahrle. From the concept idea to the moment they succeeded in making it to the top of the list of paid applications on App Store in more than 20 countries.
  • MICHAEL ALCOVER, 3D character animator for the videogame industry and cinema and television production. His animation work includes The Adventures of Tadeo Jones (a game for Ps-Vita, U-play Studios), winner of the Zapping Award to best game for children in 2013, and having participated as senior animator in Cuerdas, which won the 2014 Goya Award for best animation short film. He currently works at U-Play Studios as Lead Animator for a new game for PS4-PGVita.
The event will also be attended by the members of the jury for the contest, with representatives from the main companies and institutions in the videogame industry: Ubisoft, King, Social Point, Digital Legends, among others, as well as specialist critics and academia.
