Next Wednesday the 30th of May 2012, at 12.00 p.m. the Higher Technical School of Civil Engineers of the UPC will host an Open Talent event offered by the C.E.O. of Agbar, Angel Simón.

At this masterclass-conference, Simón will be analyzing the current state of water in the world (distribution, challenges and objectives) to present Agbar’s business model. Agbar is a leading company in this sector and its model is based on developing talent and the careers of the professionals working in this large group working on the overall management of the water cycle. Talent, innovation, knowledge and commitment, as the engines of continuity and professional success, in an organization with over 140 years of history, which is present in 11 countries and distributes water to over 26 million people.

This event will be attended by the UPC Commissioner for Lifelong Learning, Mr. Joan Majó, and the director of the UPC School of Civil Engineering, Mr. Antonio Huerta, and will also serve to present the next edition of the Masters’ degree in Water Technology and Management, which will start in November 2012 at the UPC School.
