The Open Talent session on: "Ethics and research", with Liliana Arroyo, head of projects at Eticas Research & Consulting, will take place at the Tech Talent Center (c/ Badajoz 73, Barcelona) on Thursday 15 October at 7 pm.
The objective of the research, which is to broaden the domains of knowledge, is no excuse for refusing to establish a code of ethics to be respected by researchers. These ethical principles cover both the technical aspects of what should or should not be investigated (e.g. manipulation of genetic code, weapons, etc.), the procedures to be followed (e.g. tests on humans or animals, access to personal data, etc.) as well as the cross-disciplinary issues of all researchers' work, such as accuracy and authorship in publications, sound economic management and intellectual property issues.
If you are interested in the implications of ethics on research, come and participate in this Open Talent session commemorating Global Ethics Day, which takes place on 16 October every year.
You will be able to talk to these experts in the field and share experiences!
