Presentation

4th EDITION
UPC School

This postgraduate course can be attended as part of the master's degree Mobile Business & Apps Design.

Mobility is a key feature of our days: being able to access data, applications and devices no matter where we are is essential to imagine our present and closest future. In today's world, where there are four times more devices than computers, thousands of companies around the world are preparing for the challenge of total mobility. A good example of this was the last Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, where 1,500 companies presented their latest innovations in this field, opening up endless business opportunities.

According to Boston Consulting Group, in 2015 two billion people will use a smartphone, a clear piece of evidence that mobile communications are the future in the world of communications. As for mobile applications, the evolution of downloads has passed 1 million per day. These figures are the proof of an unprecedented opportunity for programmers and designers who, aware of their potential, want to grow in this strategic sector.

This postgraduate programme aims at meeting the professional needs in the sphere of mobile communications from a technical and development perspective, where students will be able to design mobile applications for Android App and that, at a later stage, can be commercialized.
