This lifelong learning course can be attended as part of the postgraduate course Maintenance of Equipment and Installations.

Aims

  • To provide maintenance technicians with comprehensive knowledge in industrial installations and techniques to be able to avoid breakdowns using proper testing and diagnostics.
  • To offer the means and knowledge needed to resolve breakdowns quickly and safely.

Installations and Electric Equipment Maintenance
5 ECTS. 51 teaching hours.
  • Measure and filtering of disturbances on the electrical network.
  • Maintenance of facilities AT and MT: lines and substations.
  • industrial transformers. Access facilities on land.
  • thermography. Interpretation of results.
  • Red LV Electrical Distribution. Structure and functions. Características de los dispositivos interruptions and Protection. POINT limitations. The connection.
  • Selectivity: Selectivity amperimétrica, chronometric and logic. Distances security. Ejemplo problem.
  • Verification of averías (differential Aislamientos, sunsets on earth, etc ...)
  • Redes analyzer. Disturbances. Security.
  • Techniques and WLAN components. Systems marking. Tools.
  • Maintenance of equipos generator.
  • Small power transformers. Filters.
  • Maintenance of motor and generator.

Lifelong learning diploma issued by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. To obtain this degree it is necessary to have an official or recognized university degree equivalent to a bachelor's degree or diploma. Otherwise, the Fundació Politècnica de Catalunya will only award them a a certificate of completion.
