    Doctor in Architecture, UPC Professor. Director of the UPC Centre for Land Valuation Policy. The director of the Doctorate in Urban and Architectural Management and Valuation, which is unique in its kind in Spain as it combines the economic, legal, social and environmental processes involved in town and regional planning. He has written numerous articles related to the real estate economy, the analysis of territorial structures and the city. His most outstanding books focus on the theoretical analysis of the formation of land value and the practical application of valuation methods. Professor Roca is a leading figure in the Spanish and international sphere in the field of valuations, and especially those related to urban management processes. He has been a pioneer in Spain in teaching valuations at graduate level since from the appearance of master's degree courses in the early 1980s.

    Member of the Appraisal Institute MAI, SRA, AI-GRS, AI-RRS. AACI (Hon.), GRI, has been president of the Appraisal Institute (2013) and member of the board of the institution. He is a certified teacher of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and has taught numerous courses and seminars under the AI in the US and Canada since 1989. He is an expert in residential, commercial, agricultural and intangibles valuation. He is president of Rick Borges Real Estate & Related Services Incorporated Enterprieses, whose business scope focuses on valuation, consulting, brokerage, brokerage, real estate development and real estate education studies. Its customers include companies of global relevance as Walt-Mart, numerous financial institutions such as JP Morgan, the US administration and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, among others.

    MRICS. Degree in Business and Law from the Univerty College of Dublin. Currently Director of Valuations in Valuation Spain (Madrid) Advisoy Jones Long LaSalle. He was a Consultant Senior Associate at Cushman and Wakefield in Spain, and external consultant in the merger of Grupo Santander and Abbey National.
