Continuing with the METAPOLIS research and publications, the Master in Advanced Architecture, organized by the IAAC is an international one-year research program.

It focuses on architecture, understood as a discipline that encompasses different scales ranging from: territorial analysis, urban development, architectural projects and digital fabrications to informational environments.The programme is oriented at graduates who wish to commit and develop their design research skills in the context of new forms of practice within architecture and urbanism, ranging from large-scale environments to tectonic details.

Over the last three years, the IAAC has received students from more than 25 different countries, making it in an exceptionally international and multicultural place.

Aims

The Master's in Advanced Architecture Programme seeks to train architectural professionals to be a driving force behind innovation in the construction of living spaces on scales that go "from byte sized to geographic" and from the home to the city and on to the planet itself.

Who is it for

The recommended student profile is to be an architect but the IAAC will review all applications received with the aim of boosting the interdisciplinary character of this programme.
