El próximo viernes 24 de mayo, desde las 16h hasta las 20:30h, se realizará en el Disseny Hub Barcelona (Plaza de les Glòries Catalanes 38, Barcelona) una jornada especial con motivo del concurso de videojuegos Three Headed Monkey Awards (3HMA).

Este será el programa de actividades durante la tarde:

ZONA DE EXPOSICIÓN DE LOS PROYECTOS FINALISTAS Y NETWORKING CON SUS CREADORES

Espacio Foyer

  • 16:00h - 18:30h (ininterrumpido): Los equipos finalistas exponen sus proyectos al público. Podrás probar los juegos e intercambiar impresiones con sus creadores.


CONFERENCIA CON EL AI DEVELOPER DE HORIZON ZERO DAWN

Auditorio Disseny Hub

  • 18:30h - 19:15h: Conferencia: "Artificial Intelligence en el juego Horizon Zero Dawn", a cargo de José Antonio Escribano, AI Programmer en Guerrilla Games (Amsterdam).

Para Guerrilla Games, Horizon Zero Dawn ha sido un cambio de dirección definitivo. Pasar de niveles lineales, combates tácticos y basados ​​en primera persona a un juego action RPG de mundo abierto nos ha requerido crear nuevos sistemas y tener que rehacer algunos ya existentes.

En esta charla, se explicarán los retos que el equipo de AI tuvo que afrontar en el desarrollo de esta producción y el salto de calidad que supuso. Nos explicará el sistema de navegación para agentes con diferente tamaño en un entorno totalmente dinámico, cómo funciona la combinación del planificador de decisiones (HTN) y el desarrollo de los sistemas para coordinar grupos de agentes.

José Antonio Escribano tiene más de 10 años de experiencia trabajando en la industria de los videojuegos. Comenzó en Madrid, pero en 2010 decidió probar suerte en el extranjero. Ha enfocado su carrera hacia la AI y ha trabajado en AiGameDev.com como lead programmer, y posteriormente en Crytek y Guerrilla games como AI Developer.
