An Open Class is to be held at 05:30 PM on wednesday 19-06-2019 in Coca-Cola Iberian Partners (Polígono Industrial Can Fenosa - c/ Can Fenosa 26, 08107 Martorelles) on Masters in Executive in Supply Chain Management. Operations and Logistics.

The Programme is:

  • 5.30 pm - 5.35 pm. Welcome, by August Casanovas, academic director of the Executive Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management. Operations and Logistics at the UPC School.
  • 5.35 pm - 6.40 pm. Visit to the Coca-Cola Iberian Partners Plant. Packaging lines, manufacture of syrups, PET bottles, etc. Lean Manufacturing implementation model.
  • 6.40 pm - 7.30 pm: Lecture: "The Coca-Cola Management model with a Lean Supply Chain: Excellence Operational Program with M.E.S. technologies, leadership and creativity". With Sergi Ferré, director of the Barcelona Plant of Coca-Cola Iberian Partners.
The Coca-Cola Lean Supply Chain management model: The Excellence Operational Program is now a mature model, implemented in various phases with the involvement of all the collaborators. Its beginnings were in the area of Lean Manufacturing, and now it has spread throughout the Supply Chain. Lean Management Review sessions are now supported by M.E.S. technology. People and their creativity are the key to innovation. It is not the technology itself, which already exists, but how it is applied and the added value that is obtained from it.
  • 7.30 pm - 8.20 pm. Lecture: "M.E.S, Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality. The entry to Industry 4.0 and Supply Chain Management 4.0.” With Daniel Prieto, CEO of Soltec Ingenieros S.L. and co-founder of Norlean. President of the AGEINCO Engineering Cluster of Galicia.
Industry has recently undergone a major change in the shortest possible time: digital transformation and industry 4.0. In the latest industrial revolution, productivity has been increased by investments in assets. Now is the time for investment in neurons and talent, which in addition to the reduction of costs of various technologies (MES, AI, VR, Digital Twins, etc.), leads to successful results in Supply Chain management.
  • 8.20 pm - 8.30 pm. End of the open class.
