The Open Talent session "The Entrepreneur's DNA", with Erik Brieva, CEO of Strands, director of Bcombinator, a serial entrepreneur and an executive at innovative companies, will take place at the Tech Talent Center (c/Badajoz, 73, Barcelona), on Thursday 21 November at 7 pm.

Entrepreneurs may have some innate characteristics that provide them with the momentum for enterprise. However, all the qualities that a successful entrepreneur needs can be acquired if you knows what is required, and those skills can be learned or developed. All these qualities make up the entrepreneur's DNA.

The speaker

Erik Brieva is a computer engineer and holds a master's degree in Computer Graphics. He is a serial entrepreneur and executive in innovative companies. He currently directs Bcombinator, which focuses on success in start-ups and companies. He was previously international director of product marketing at Red Hat and is currently CEO of Strands. He was the founder of Polymita (acquired by Red Hat), Enzyme (acquired by the Nexe Group), Intelligent Software Components S.A. (acquired by a private equity fund), Altea Consulting, and iSOFACT. He is a guest lecturer at IESE, ESADE and the UPM.
