El jueves 8 de junio, a las 19:15 h, se realizará en la Sala de Actos del Tech Talent Center la quinta edición del Open Day TIC. Una cita para conocer tendencias en el sector digital y ser punto de reencuentro entre profesionales, profesorado y alumni TIC de la UPC School.

Programa:

19.15 h - Check-in de asistentes.
19.30 h - Bienvenida y presentación institucional de la UPC School.
19.35 h - Conferencia: "Inteligencia artificial: de dónde venimos y hacia dónde vamos", a cargo de Karina Gibert, catedrática en la UPC, directora del centro de investigación Intelligent Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IDEAI-UPC) y decana del Colegio Oficial de Ingeniería Informática de Cataluña.

La ponencia dará una visión divulgativa sobre el ámbito de la IA, más allá de la pequeña parte que últimamente se ha hecho más famosa ligada al deep learning y a la IA generativa, y analizará sus diferentes ámbitos de aplicación. También reflexionará sobre el impacto actual de la IA y el contexto de la transformación digital con un repaso del marco ético que desde Cataluña y en el ámbito europeo se propone y las medidas que se están desarrollando para el desarrollo de una IA ética en Europa.
