Why this master's degree of continuing education?
Light is an element with the capacity to add to the space all the nuances that define it visually. Perceptive, plastic and technical components coexist in its application and reading. The measure of the use of these components is what turns light into an essential element with a great transforming, communicative and sensitive capacity.

The role of light in a spatial project is developed through several aspects at once: conceptual; that will give identity to the project, functional that will respond to the visual aspects of the space; and efficient that will seek a good balance between energy consumption and project requirements; all of them applicable in any project that has to do with space, be it of interior spaces, urban spaces or ephemeral spaces.

The Master we offer opens the doors for students to enter the professional world and prepares them, in the most complete way, to face the challenges of this exciting profession.

Currently, with the evolution of new technologies and the increasing use that is made of them, the incorporation of the figure of the Lighting Designer is essential in the design and definition of any type of space.

The Master has a professional vocation and has the support of leading companies in the sector, such as IGuzzini, Lutron and Vibia.
Aims
  • Be able to develop, plan and execute a professional architectural lighting design project, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Identify, analyse and solve problems in the field of architectural lighting design.
  • To know the conceptual language, techniques and associated technologies that surround the world of light.
  • Study the lighting systems and lighting applications, as well as the different regulations.
  • Provide lighting design and calculation tools for the realization of a lighting project both indoors and outdoors.
  • Offer market news and encourage the exchange of knowledge among professionals in the sector.
