Why this postgraduate course?
Digital Transformation (DT) is one of the greatest economic and social challenges for the competitiveness of companies around the world. Organizations in any sector must adapt their structures and operations to new business models, to different competitive environments and to the changes in value chains, as well as incorporate new professional profiles. Organizational leaders and managers must be able to quickly acquire new skills, methodologies and competencies. They must also know the impact, challenges and opportunities of new disruptive technologies and incorporate new concepts into decision-making processes. All this, to achieve agile organizations, adaptable to change and, therefore, competitive and sustainable over time.

Proper training of managerial profiles and middle managers is the key to conducting a fast, consistent and effective DT of organizations.

This postgraduate degree in Digital Transformation Leadership will train students to drive, design, manage and lead the DT of different companies and organizations with the best guarantees of success.

The faculty are professionals with long experience in the professional and technological world, who have led and managed several DTs in different fields. All the elements involved in the DT of an organization will be worked on throughout the program: corporate strategy, customer-centric business model, change management, data as the basic axis of the business, digital innovation, new platforms and methodologies, to cybersecurity and disruptive technologies (such as artificial intelligence, the internet of things or the blockchain).

This program offers a practical and applied vision of TD focused on use cases, a fact that fosters the critical vision of the students. In addition, during the program work teams will be formed to develop a real project.

Throughout the course we will have some conferences by experts in complementary topics (augmented reality, quantum technologies, etc.) to know their present and future state.

Aims
  • To acquire a global vision of DT that includes business functions, technologies and people.
  • To understand the challenges and opportunities that DT brings for organizations.
  • To jointly analyze the integration of available technologies to create initiatives or actions of value within the framework of DT projects.
  • To know how to align the global strategy of the organization with the DT strategy.
  • To identify leadership skills in order to involve everyone in the organization in DT.
  • To know good DT practices in different companies, as well as cases in which success or objectives have not been achieved.
Who is it for?
  • Professionals who occupy or wish to occupy positions of responsibility and are involved in the DT of the organization, whether in a public entity or private company. They can come from diverse areas as human resources, marketing, finance, operations, manufacturing or innovation, both from ICT or operational technologies. The postgraduate course is particularly targeted at leadership profiles (CDO, CEO, CIO and middle managers) and managers of business strategy (CFO, COO, CHRM, CMO and CSO) with user-level computer skills and analytical thinking.
  • Engineers in Computer Science, Telecommunications, industrial, civil, agronomists, roads, etc., as well as economists/ADE or with STEM studies who want to specialize in the design and management of DT strategic plans, and the initiatives and projects that are derived from these.
  • Professionals with experience in the leadership and management of projects and services who want to update their knowledge to participate in programs and strategic projects of DT.
