Module 3: MEASUREMENT Stage

  • Outlining questions in order to perform the diagnosis
  • Analysis of existing data
  • Evaluating the measurement system
  • Collecting new data

Module 4: ANALYSE Stage

  • Analysis of the process and data
  • Lean methodology and statistical techniques
  • Drawing conclusions from data

Module 5: IMPROVEMENT

  • Possible improvements and selecting the most suitable improvements
  • Pilot tests
  • Implementation

Module 6: CONTROLS

  • Standardisation of the new process
  • Establishing the control chart
  • Monitoring the indicators
  • End of project
Project
5 ECTS.
  • The programme is completed with an optional improvement project on a specific situation in which the Six Sigma method is used. Participants will be supported by a tutor, who will be one of the lecturers, during the course of the project.
