La gestión integral de los edificios (tanto de los inmuebles como de los servicios de soporte) se está convirtiendo en una área de vital importancia para las empresas, ya que permite optimizar la rentabilidad de los activos inmobiliarios e infraestructuras, reducir los costes de los servicios de mantenimiento y conservación en la explotación, además de ofrecer servicios de soporte más competitivos y adecuados a su core business.

La diversidad de actividades incluidas en la gestión de la conservación de edificios y el mantenimiento de las instalaciones hace necesaria la profesionalización de los responsables de esta área funcional de las empresas que actualmente actúan de forma autodidacta y carentes de metodología.

La profesionalización de estas actividades ha dado paso a lo que se conoce a nivel internacional como Facility Manager. Este profesional agrupa múltiples disciplinas para asegurar la funcionalidad del entorno construido, integrado por personas, procesos y tecnología. Su objetivo es garantizar el máximo rendimiento de los activos y la satisfacción de los clientes hacia los servicios de apoyo ofrecidos. Además, la conservación de los activos inmobiliarios, su mantenimiento y la gestión de estos servicios de apoyo se deben desarrollar bajo criterios de sostenibilidad y de eficiencia energética, en compromiso con el resto de la sociedad. Por tanto, se trata de un perfil con una creciente demanda de profesionales.


Este máster se plantea como una oferta modular compuesta por dos posgrados, Gestión de Servicios de Facility Management y Control de la Gestión de Servicios de Facility Management, y permiten alcanzar las competencias básicas sobre la gestión de inmuebles y servicios de apoyo y sobre su control, incidiendo en los aspectos económicos y en las aplicaciones tecnológicas aplicadas.

Aims

Al finalizar el máster, los participantes serán capaces de:

  1. Desarrollar una actividad profesional en auge, como es la del Facility Management.

  2. Aportar beneficios económicos a los clientes potenciales, propietarios de patrimonio inmobiliario.

  3. Alinear las funciones del FM con la estrategia corporativa de las empresas.

  4. Gestionar las necesidades de espacio y uso de las actividades así como la conservación y el mantenimiento de los edificios donde se desarrollan las mismas.

  5. Implementar o adaptar las nuevas tecnologías y herramientas de gestión con estrategia global, para potenciar el posicionamiento y la eficiencia de las actividades desarrolladas por la empresa en el mercado, incluyendo sistemas BIM y GMAO/IWMS.

Este Máster está diseñado para dar respuesta a una necesidad de formación creciente en la gestión y explotación del gran parque inmobiliario existente y tienen cabida profesionales de diversa formación, tales como:

Director of the EPSEB Building Laboratory, developing projects, reports and agreements in the areas of construction, maintenance, rehabilitation of buildings and quality management.
  • Gibert Armengol, Vicente
    Doctor in Construction Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Technical architect and Master in Building by the UPC, postgraduate in Management and Maintenance of Buildings (Facilities Management). Professor of the Department of Technology of Architecture of the UPC. Project Manager of the Building Laboratory of the EPSEB, developing projects, reports and agreements in the fields of construction, maintenance and rehabilitation of buildings.

    Senior Industrial Engineer at the UPC. With extensive ongoing training related to Facility Management functions. Currently Director of Engineering and Maintenance of LABORATORIO ALDO-UNIÓN, Secretary of the Catalan Association of Facility Management and member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering. He has accumulated an experience of more than 30 years in service, teaching, hospital and pharmaceutical companies (FCC, UPC, Son Dureta Hospital, IPSEN PHARMA, ACCIONA), the last 30 in workplaces comparable to Facility Manager.

    Industrial Engineer, Master in Business Administration by ESADE, Founder and CEO of TOPproperty, founding member and member of the Board of the Catalan Association of Facility Management, member of the COEIC self-protection plan subcommittee, has worked for the last 20 years in Management of real estate assets for Savills, Family offices, Promoters and funds. Also in energy management (Endesa) and installation companies Govoni Ibérica and Elecnor and has participated as an entrepreneur in projects in the education sector, leisure and human resources.

  • Rodriguez Seijo, Juan Manuel
    Industrial Engineer by the UPM, PDD by the IESE, MBA by the UB, Master in Facility Management by La Salle (URLL) and Master in PRL by the UPC. He is currently Founder and Director of Carpire Solutions, a comprehensive consulting company in Facility Management. Accumulate an experience of more than 25 years in the field of Facility Management, both in strategic consulting and departmental and operational management, developed in both public and private organizations. Founding member of the ACFM and IFMA member awarded the best professional article in 2010 and 2013.

  • Royano García, Verónica
    Arquitecta Técnica y Máster en Edificación por la UPC. Profesora asociada del Departamento de Tecnología de la Arquitectura de la UPC. Técnica especializada del Laboratorio de Edificación de la EPSEB, desarrollando proyectos, informes y convenios en los ámbitos de la construcción, el mantenimiento y la rehabilitación de edificios.
  • Sistach i Manén, Marc
    Ingeniero industrial por la UPC. PDD por ESADE, Máster en Dirección de Marketing por el ISM y Posgrado en Smart Cities por la UOC. Director de Explotación a URBICSA, concesionaria de la Ciudad de la Justicia de Barcelona y L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. Anteriormente había sido, entre otros cargos, director de explotación en el Grupo Agbar y subgerente de abastecimiento a la concesionaria chilena Aguas Andinas. Es coordinador general del grupo de trabajo de facility management de la Asociación/Colegio de Ingenieros Industriales de Cataluña y presidente de la Asociación Catalana de Facility Management.
  • Trisan Segui, Francesc
    Industrial Engineer at the UPC. Postgraduate in Maintenance by the UPC. Bronze Academy Facility Management by Johnson Controls. Founding member of the ACFM (Associació Catalana de Facility Management) and the FM working group of the College of Industrial Engineers. 15 years of experience in the Facility Management sector in multinational industry leaders such as Johnson Controls and CBRE. He currently develops a Global position within CBRE as an FM management process (Global Business Process Lead) implementation.

Degree
Special master's degree issued by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Issued pursuant to art. 34.1 of Organic Law 4/2007 of 12 April, amending Organic Law 6/2001 of 21 December, concerning Universities. To obtain it, is necessary to have an official university qualification. Otherwise, the student will receive a certificate of completion of the programme issued by the Fundació Politècnica de Catalunya.
