Entrepreneurs aren't born - they're made! The Master's Degree in Digital Entrepreneurship is a programme taught and mentored by renowned entrepreneurs to help other entrepreneurs develop or consolidate their business with the best guarantee of success.

The master's degree is a response to the needs for innovation, adaptation to new business models supported by new technologies, business ethics and sustainability, to create and lead the companies of the twenty-first century.

The course is divided into three phases:

1. Lean Startup Creation: based on methodologies and tools including Customer Development by Steve Blank, Lean Startup by Eric Ries, Business Model Canvas by Alex Osterwalder and Creative Problem Solving by Min Basadur. The goal is to create the minimum viable product (MVP).

2. Incubation and Acceleration: a period working at B-combinator, a coworking centre near UPC School, from which 50 start-ups have successfully emerged. You will have the chance to work next to other entrepreneurs, experts and mentors who will advise you throughout the iteration and pivoting process until you find the perfect fit for your product on the market (product-market fit).

3. Scaling Up: in this phase, you will be able to consolidate your company by laying the foundations for sustainable growth, generating revenue with the first clients, applying negotiation techniques, reinforcing your leadership and management capabilities, learning the legal and administrative aspects, crafting your business plan, and learning the basics for attracting and negotiating with investors. The master's degree concludes with the Demo Day, when you present your company and your product to an audience consisting of national and international investors.

By the end of the programme, you will know how to successfully create and launch businesses, you will be an expert in identifying and solving the challenges that you find on the way, finding market niches and the appropriate marketing strategies for scaling a business, and you will be able to make presentations effectively in public and negotiate with clients, suppliers and investors. Your master's degree prepares you to launch an innovative company, creating jobs and value for society.

• Entrepreneurs and executives with the ambition to innovate and manage the growth of their company, harnessing the advantages of new technologies and modern digital marketing and strategy techniques, and receive training to obtain financing from venture capital.
• University graduates with an entrepreneurial spirit or wishing to work in start-up management.

People with no knowledge of IT need to establish a partnership with someone who has technical knowledge, or they will have to subcontract the development of the product to a third party.
