  • Botella López, Pere
    An Industrial Engineer and doctor in Computer Science, Professor at the Services and Information Systems Engineering Department at the UPC. Professor of Software Engineering and Project Management at the FIB-UPC for more than 35 years. He is a past dean of the FIB and vice-rector of the UPC. He currently works with the UPC School and is a member of the scientific committee at the ACIE.
  • Brieva, Erik
    A Computer Engineer, and the holder of a Master's degree in Computer Graphics. He was director of marketing at Red Hat and is currently CEO of Strands. A multiple entrepreneur and executive in innovative companies, he was the founder of Polymita (acquired by Red Hat), Enzyme (acquired by the Nexe Group), Intelligent Software Components S.A. (acquired by a Private Equity fund), Altea Consulting, iSOFACT and Wannay. Guest lecturer at IESE, ESADE and the UPM.

  • Argerich Herreras, Jaume
    Graduate in Economics. The holder of an MBA from IESE. PhD in business. Dissertation title: "Screening Criteria for Business Angels Investments". Corporate Development Director, reporting to the Financial Director General and Director at Ficosa International. He has worked in companies including Caixabank and IBM.
  • Arroyo Diaz, Josep
    Serial entrepreneur in the information technology. Studied economy and business administration. Founder and CEO at On Line 1, S.A., leading industrial ERP in 1986 acquired by infor in 1999. Involved in corporate turnarounds (2000-2003) in Europe and the US. Funder and CEO of Quiterian, Big Data Analytics late 2003, acquired in 2012 by OpenText. Since then until December 2015, VP analytics worldwide at OpenText (California). In 2016 founder and CEO of Baluwo, the eCommerce for African migrants.
  • Ballarín Latre, Àlex
    Computer Engineer (UPC). He is founding member of ITNOVE.com, from where he helps to incorporate agility in organizations. He is the director of Agile IT Management program and professor of the Master in Digital Enterpreneurship.

  • Cabezas-Castellanos, Alberto
    Founder and CEO of Gauss & Neumann, a pioneer laboratory in Search Engine Marketing (SEM). Telecommunications Engineer from the Oregon Institute of Technology, graduate of the Entrepreneurial Masters Program (EMP - Birthing of Giants) of EO Network at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and graduate of the Owners / President Program OPM of Harvard Business School. Member of the Harvard Club of Spain and New York and elected in 2012 as one of the 20 most outstanding entrepreneurs in Spain under 40 years of age by IESE and the GEW.
  • Carenzo, Mathieu
    A graduate from the ESSCA (Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d'Angers) and the holder of an MBA from the IESE Business School. He led the "Entrepreneurship Center" at the IESE, where he coordinated teaching, research and dissemination activities related to business creation and innovation for more than 6 years. He is currently a lecturer on Initiative, Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the IESE. He advises entrepreneurs and teaches business creation, focusing on financing new innovative initiatives in senior management, executive education and MBA programmes on 4 continents and in 3 languages. He also acts as a private investor in several companies, and heads the Global Entrepreneurship Week in Spain.
  • Counihan, Michael Clark
    Holds an MBA from the IESE Business School, and has completed the CFA programme. He was CEO of Smartkidds, an e-commerce technology start-up. In addition to launching a technology start-up, he has experience in investment banking, research and selection of investments, mergers and takeovers, and business fundraising. The organiser of the Barcelona Lean Startup Circle, one of Spain's largest groups of entrepreneurs and technology. Michael's former start-up was accelerated at SeedRocket Accelerator, one of Spain's leading and most successful accelerators.
  • Lahera Taboada, Germán
    Lawyer, Partner and Administrator of PACTVM SL. A specialist in advice on start-ups, mergers and takeovers, new technologies, intellectual property and international private relationships. He was previously Counselor & Attorney at Polymita, until the company's sale to Red Hat in 2012.
  • Segarra Torres, Marc
    The holder of a degree in Visual Communication. Master's Degree in multimedia interface design. Master's Degree in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). The founder of Micelulacreativa, trainer, creative coach with extensive experience in creativity management and groups dynamics to generate ideas and manage change. A great deal of experience in strategic projects for innovation, with a particular focus on the user and Human Centered Innovation.
  • Tarradellas Olmo, Ivan
    The holder of an Executive Master's degree in Digital Business from ESADE and a Technical Engineering degree in Computer Systems. More than 14 years of experience developing and managing new digital products from the conception/analysis phase to their launch onto the market, using agile methodologies. He is currently Product Manager at Strands, where he manages the line of new products, and is as a Guest Lecturer on the Master's degree in Big Data at the Instituto de Empresa (IE) in Madrid.
  • Valdés, Pau
    Graduate in Molecular Biology and Genetics. Graduate in BAM. Holder of an MEB Master's degree (Master in European Business) from the French business university Edhec. He completed the Executive Development Programme at IESE, and is currently studying the EMP (Entrepreneur Master Program) organised by the EO international organisation of entrepreneurs, which is taught at Endicott House at the MIT (Boston, Massachusetts). He has been an entrepreneur for 15 years. After having carried out several projects in the field of technology and marketing, he is currently the CEO and co-founder of InboundCycle, the first Spanish-language Inbound Marketing agency.
  • Yasinestkaya, Victoria
    Marketing director of the FinTech pioneer Strands. He has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and strategy areas, specializing in the financial technology industry. She frequently participates as a speaker at international conferences, talking about marketing trends and the role of women in the financial sector. Professor of marketing and strategy in major European universities. Author of books and articles.
