  • Carod de Arriba, Xavier
    Doctor en Ingeniería de Proyectos por la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Licenciado en Química por la Universitat de Barcelona, especializado en Ciencia de Materiales. Colaborador de la Cátedra SEAT/UPC del 2007 al 2012. Profesor asociado en el Departamento de Ingeniería de Proyectos y Construcción de la UPC.
  • Luzón Narro, Benito Javier
    Responsible for the Technical Calculation Department at the Technical Centre of SEAT. Previously, he worked as co-ordinating engineer of impact tests, as well as responsible for the supervision and analysis of impact tests at the passive safety area of the Technical Centre of SEAT. Bachelor degree from the UPC in Industrial Engineering. Besides that, he holds a postgraduate degree in biomechanics and biomaterials from the UPC, and a Master degree in Biomedical Engineering from the same university. Is Assistant lecturer at the UPC, and has teaching experience related to car safety for different professional groups, such as firemen and technical inspectors of vehicles. Is also Director of the Biomechanical Technical Section of the Spanish Society of Automotive Technicians (STA). He is member of the Spanish Society of Biomechanics and Biomaterials, and of the EEVC WG19.

    Doctor en Ingeniería de Proyectos por la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Consultor de innovación en Lead to Change. Ingeniero Técnico de Telecomunicaciones e Ingeniero de Organización Industrial por la UPC. Profesor Asociado en el Departamento de Ingeniería de Proyectos y Construcción de la UPC.

  • Amer Montesinos, Salvador
    Salvador holds a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineer from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. He has studied multiple specialized fatigue courses, such as "Fatigue of materials and structures", "Selection of materials in mechanical Project" or "Simulation and Analysis of stresses in mechanical components". Since 1987, he has been working as Fatigue Engineer in SEAT. Salvador has international working experience: 2 years as engineer in Acoustics department, and 8 months as Engineer in Audi, also in the Fatigue Laboratory. Currently, he is Head of Fatiga y Extensometría Laboratory a the Technical Center of SEAT.
  • Arregui Dalmases, Carlos
    Ph.D in biomedical engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Master in automotive Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering and postgraduate in biomechanics by the University of Barcelona. Currently lecturer professor at the Universitat politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and visiting assistant professor at the University of Virginia at the Center for Applied Biomechanics.
  • Bellorín Segovia, Alejandro
    Alexandro holds a degree from the Central University of Venezuela in Chemical Engineering, and a master degree from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya in "Automotive Manufacturing & Business Engineering". Nowadays, he is responsible for the validation and control of different components of the vehicle at SEAT.

  • Castellon Oitaben, Oscar
    Oscar holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). He has more than 10 years of experience in car body painting processes. At present, Oscar is in charge of Paint Engineering Department at SEAT.
  • Chaves Miguel, Mario
    Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and a Postgraduate Degree in Bodyworks and Automotive Materials- CARMAT. At present, he is leader of the Car body and Corrosion Team at the Technical Centre of SEAT.
  • Colet Gali, Juan
    Mechanical Engineer at EUETIB. Currently Head of Interior Finishing (trunk) at SEAT's Technical Centre. Head of Service of cockpit's preliminary plan and Door Mechanism Service. Over 25 year of experience at SEAT's R & D.
  • Colomer Mur, Josep Maria
    Bachelor of Information Sciences. Master NLP. Associate professor at UPC Business Organization Department. Member of the Expert Network in Leadership Development within the Coaching area at Barcelona Activa Teacher and coach in management skills. Teacher in personal skills development programs at UPC PhD office and UPC Alumni
  • Comas i Font, Josep
    Responsible for simulations of Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) at the Technical Centre of SEAT.
  • del Mazo Viñas, Jose Maria
    José María PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Institut Quimic de Sarrià, a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, and a Master Degreee in Polymers from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). He is head of the Laboratory of Plastics and Elastomers at SEAT since 1995. Previously, he was the responsible for the Non Metallic Materials Lab at SEAT (1981-1995). José María has an extensive experience as Lecturer at different Master Degrees and Postgraduate Couses related to Materials, Plastics, Life Cycle Assessment methodologies and waste treatments.
  • Delgado Plaza, Pedro Antonio
    Head of service responsible for the Cokpit and Doors in Development Concepts, at SEAT's Technical Centre. Associate Professor of the automotive Elisava Design Master and occupational training programs. With over 25 years experience in the automotive sector (Yamaha and SEAT), in SEAT has developed different task and responsibilities in the departments of Structure, Moving parts, Optimization Series and Development Concepts.

  • Funes Castillo, Raul
    Raúl holds a Bachelor Degree from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in Industrial Electronics Engineering. He has worked in many engineering companies, and nowadays he works in the Technical Centre of SEAT as a haptic researcher.
  • García Saura, Maria Teresa
    Licenciada en Geografía e Historia por la Universitat de Barcelona (UB). Técnica Especialista de Riesgos Laborales por la UB. Técnica de los posgrados CARMAT. Carrocería y Materiales de Automoción y ELTICA. Electricidad y Electrónica del Automóvil. Responsable del programa CATIA v5 en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales de Barcelona. Administración y control de los cursos y posgrados realizados por la Cátedra SEAT/UPC, Fundació Politècnica de Catalunya y la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales de Barcelona, en el Departamento de Ingeniería de Proyectos y Construcción de la UPC.

  • Gómez i Canadell, Romà
    Ingeniero técnico industrial en electrónica por la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Posgrado en Compatibilidad Electromagnética por la UPC. Responsable de Proyectos de I+D Electrónica en SERRA SOLDADURA, S.A. Investigador de la soldadura al arco y por resistencia. Creador del control adaptativo WISE de aseguramiento de la calidad de la soldadura. Patente del sistema OptimalSystem sobre la optimización automática de parámetros de soldadura por resistencia.
  • González Gallardo, Eduardo
    Responsible for Package and Ergonomics at Technical Centre of SEAT. Eduardo has also been lecturer at the master MIGIA-UPC
  • Hermida Carballeira, Santiago
    Technical Mechanical Engineer (EUITIB). Master Automotive Engineering (MIGIA). At present head of product optimization and customer value department in the Whole Vehicle area at the Technical Center of Seat. Responsibilities in benchmarking studies, weight optimization, cost optimization of produced cars and in the haptic of whole Vehicle.
  • Hervás Sarciat, Daniel
    Responsible for the development of interior design at the Technical Centre of SEAT. Daniel has an extensive teaching experience as lecturer in the Master's degree of Product Design of the Elisava School of Barcelona as well as the Master's degree of Automotion and Design.

  • Loste, Enrique
    Senior architect for the ETSAB, is responsible for department of surface developmen (Strak) SEAT Technical Centre. Expert in surfaces in the automotive world with industry experience of 15 years, has developed his career in SEAT, VW, AUDI and has participated in projects of other brands such as BMW, Rover and Land Rover.

  • Oliveras Mérida, Víctor
    Doctor Ingeniero Industrial por la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Responsable de coordinación del vehículo eléctrico en SEAT. Su experiencia profesional y académica se centra en la gestión de la innovación, dirección de proyectos y el diseño. Es profesor asociado del Departamento de Proyectos de Ingeniería en la ETSEIB (UPC).
  • Pérez Díaz, Manuel
    Manel holds a Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and a Master Degree in Business Administration from EADA. He has held several positions at SEAT, such as Project Engineer, Head of Laboratory, Quality Director and Project Manager.

  • Rodríguez García, Alejandro
    Alejandro Industrial holds a Degree in Industrial Engineering, and a postgraduate Degree in "Bodyworks and Automotive Materials" (CARMAT), both from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). After finishing his engineering studies, Alejandro has worked at SEAT. First, he worked as an IDIADA engineer in charge of developing plastic and metal parts, and later as SEAT staff responsible for the development and integration of the upper internal finishes: pilar linings, as well as imperial and related components.
  • Rodríguez Luengo, José Alfonso
    Master degree in Industrial Design and Product Development from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya. Since 1998, Alfonso is car designer at the Stylish department of SEAT, where he has designed and developed many car projects, Concept cars, and competition prototypes. He has also collaborated with other car manufacturers, such as VW, AUDI and SUZUKI. In 2003, he designed the SEAT ALTEA, prototype that was awarded the European Design Prize in 2003. Since 2011, Alfonso is Design Project Leader of the IBIZA and LEON segments. Since 1995, he is teaching at different schools in Barcelona, such as ESDI, ELISAVA, UPC and ISTITUTO EUROPEO DI DESIGN. Furthermore, Alfonso collaborates with the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urban Studies from the Potífica Universidad Católica de Chile. He has been a member of the expert committee of the DELTA Prize of the Industrial Designers Association in 2009 and 2010.
  • Rodriguez Moreno, Juan Carlos
    Responsible for rear vehicle area at the Technical Centre of SEAT. He is also lecturer in the Master's degree of Product Design at the Elisava School of Barcelona
  • Rodríguez Perdices, Javier
    Javier holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). He is responsible for the development of front and back impact systems, front restraint systems, and seat belts at the Technical Centre of SEAT. Previously, Javier held different responsibilities in passive safety development projects in Audi Q3 and Q5. He has also worked as plastic injection simulation, and structural analysis engineer of automotive parts in Darmstadt (Germany)
  • Román Marín, Joaquim
    Industrial Engineer by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Responsible of the inner trimming and passive safety simulation group in the Technical Center of SEAT. He has developed his activity in different aspects within the field of engineering simulation, also including CAE project control.
  • Sánchez Castillo, Juan Antonio
    Graduate in mechanical Engineering at EUETIB (UPC). Bachelor degree in mechanical Engineering at ETSEIB (UPC). Master in product design and creation at UPC. He comes from SEAT's apprentice school. He works at SEAT's Technical Center since 1988 at different areas of interiors experimentation as head of service at outdoor experimentation, interiors experimentation and actually at project department as head of service of interior door panels development at SEAT's Technical Center.
  • Segura Santillana, Angel
    Angel holds a Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. At present, he is the Head of the hood assembly and control boad at the Technical Centre of SEAT. Angel is expert in crash simulation and passive safety, especially in the area of pedestrian protection

  • Toyas Ruiz, Alberto
    Head of services of structures of seats, head restraints and safety. Alberto is also teacher of professional training in the schools of Granollers and Monlau
  • Tuijtelaars, Fons
    Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive technology (Holland) + Master of Science in International Automotive Engineering (University of Hertfordshire, England). Responsable for DMU & Tolerance Management activities within the area of body & trim development at Seat's Technical Development Center.
  • Viguer Gomez, Carlos
    Responsible for Bumper at the Technical Centre of SEAT
  • Zárate Galván, Ángel Victor
    Víctor holds a PhD degree in Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). He is responsible for the occupants¿ front impact simulation of the Calculation Department at the Technical Centre of SEAT. He has worked on the development of safety systems (airbags, seat belts, deformable elements, etc.) for SEAT and other brands of the Volkswagen Group, for the North American and European markets. Víctor has also worked in the development of internal finishes.
