Co-founder and professor in the Master in Urban Planning (MPU) - European postgraduate Masters in Urbanism (EMU). Visiting professor in A Coruña, Montevideo, Córdoba (Argentina), Montpelier, Nancy, Belleville and Sorbonne (Paris), Rice (Houston, USA) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has been director of the DUOT and deputy director of the ETSAB. Extraordinary doctorate award from the UPC. He has participated in several exhibitions on the Barcelona expansion and published various articles, chapters and books on Ildefonso Cerdá, the Barcelona expansion and others on urban planning and projects. He was the architect responsible for the expansion in the Barcelona City Council between 1983 and 1987. Professor of the Master in Urban Planning (MPU) - European postgraduate Masters in Urbanism (EMU) and guest at the Politecnico di Milano (Milan), Universitá Federico II (Naples), PennDesign (Philadelphia) and the University of the Balearic Islands.
Author of different publications, among others, of the book Morna, Atzaró: the construction of the territory of Ibiza (COAIB, 2007), finalist for the 2008 FAD Awards, in the Thought and Criticism category. Curator of various exhibitions on Erwin Broner and his projects and studies have been exhibited at the College of Architects of Barcelona, Tarragona, Palma, Ibiza, Formentera, and schools of architecture of Barcelona and Reus. He has been invited as a speaker at national and international seminars and conferences. Author of several landscape, urbanism and architecture projects, with awards and mentions in various competitions (FAD, European Landscape Biennial, Baricentrale International Competition, COAC and COAIB).

He has been professor of the "Accademia di Architettura" in Mendrisio (USI-Switzerland), and invited professor in various universities of Europe and America. Author of various books such as "The fragile order of architecture"; "Form and consistency"; "Girona, anatomy of the historic city"; "Arquitectes en el paisatge"; "Invitation to architecture"; "Between technique and enigma, transversal views on the arts". He was director of Urban Plans and Projects at the Barcelona City Council (2000-2004) and has been recognized with the National Architecture Award (Spain 1974), Special Doctorate Award (1996), Architesis Award (2000), FAD Exterior Spaces Award (1999) and special mention of the European Prize for Urban Public Space (2000).

Doctor architect from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Full professor at the Department of Urbanism and Spatial Planning (DUOT-UPC) for more than 20 years and professor at the Master in Urban Planning (MPU) - European postgraduate Masters in Urbanism (EMU). He has taught at different universities such as Venice, Lisbon, Holland, Mexico and Brazil, and has been a speaker at a conference on teaching innovation and learning at Harvard.
His doctoral thesis obtained the Extraordinary Doctorate Prize. Director and founder of the Group for Innovation and Teaching Logistics in Architecture (GILDA), from where different lines of work on learning are developed, and from where seven JIDA congresses have been held so far (Conference for Educational Innovation in Architecture) . He has written numerous articles on teaching innovation and has participated as a speaker at different national and international conferences on this subject.

Since 2004 he has been a member of the masmaristany architecture studio together with the architect Sílvia Mas, where they carry out research work focused on the urban and territorial transformations of the Metropolitan Region of Barcelona (RMB), as well as on architectural projects and urban and territorial planning, Among which is the Special Plan for the Management of the Logistics Activities Zone of the Port of Tarragona, candidate for the 2019 National Urban Planning Award.

As an expert in investment analysis, he is a consultant for public and private companies, local and regional administrations, and international institutions, such as UN-Habitat and the European Investment Bank. As an expert in land use planning, urban planning and housing, he is a member of several Territorial Commissions for Urban Planning of Catalonia, representing the College of Economists of Catalonia.

He has published articles in national and international scientific journals specialized in urban history and morphology, territorial project and cultural landscapes. She has participated in various international congresses and seminars on these topics. Invited as a professor at the universities of Florence, Padua, Bogotá, Paris and Buenos Aires, among others. Editor of the magazines Quaderns de Recerca en Urbanisme e Identitats and organizer of the International Seminar on Research in Urbanism.

Doctor architect from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and economist. Coordinator of the Doctorate and Master of Research in Urbanism (1990-2018) and of the European postgraduate Masters in Urbanism (EMU 2005-2013) in UPC. Director of the Department of Urbanism and Spatial Planning (1992-1999). He has given lectures and courses at some 70 European, Asian and American universities.
Founder of the International Laboratory of Cultural Landscapes and director of the magazine Identidades. He investigates on instruments, methods and theories of the urban and territorial project, and on the relationship between heritage resources and development. More than a hundred books or book chapters, as many articles and direction of fifty doctoral theses. Author of numerous urban projects and studies in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Spain and Uruguay. Recognized for this on three occasions in the National Urbanism Awards (Spain), with the Urbanism Award of Catalonia (2007) and the Special Award for Heritage of Catalonia (2011).
