Business Innovation and Happiness

Master's degree. Face-to-face.

UPC School

Society is in the midst of change. The social, cultural and technological environment has changed substantially, and this has caused - and will continue to cause - significant changes in consumers' attitudes and demands.  Factors such as sustainability, responsible consumption and new forms of communication based on more collaborative environments will be crucial in this new scenario, and digitalisation and new technologies will have a decisive impact.

In order to adapt to these changes, organisations must make a strategic change and integrate two concepts that are engines for change in a natural and balanced way: the constant need for innovation and happiness in the working environment.  Promoting creativity, entrepreneurship, leadership and personal development in the business world must become part of an organisation's DNA and be managed appropriately, in order to increase the organisation's well-being, and its business competitiveness, productivity and efficiency as a result. This master's degree in Business Innovation and Happiness will provide tools and competences for professionals and entrepreneurs who are open to the new style of management of companies of the future, which involves organisations that are less hierarchical, project-oriented and with an innovative and globalising outlook on business.

The differential value of this course lies in its methodological approach, which combines learning by doing, working on real projects for a complete integration into the reality of business; role playing with the experience of simulated practical sessions from a real working environment, and mentoring or tutoring in the student's professional and business orientation throughout the entire training.

The objectives are:

  • To promote entrepreneurship and a project-based attitude.
  • To enhance leadership and effective and emotional communication.
  • To develop creative and innovative capacity at all levels of the organisation.
  • To enhance management based on positive and conscious leadership.
  • To provide training for work in all disciplines.

Who is it for

Our focus is on all professionals and/or entrepreneurs who are open to the new management style, who will work in less hierarchical organisations, who are project-oriented and have a globalising outlook on business.

The programme is especially aimed at managers of companies or departments, personnel from human resources, research, and marketing departments and project managers.

The student will obtain a double degree, own UPC master and master by the IPB (Plytechnic Institute of Bragança).
