Start   >  Open Talent  >  Open Talent "Project management as a catalyst for change:...
Date: 30-10-2014
Timetable: 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm
Location: Tech Talent Center (Badajoz, 73. Barcelona)

The Open Talent session "Project management as a catalyst for change: the case of FC Barcelona" with Jordi Teixidó, a consultant specializing in project management, will take place at the Tech Talent Center (c/Badajoz, 73, Barcelona), on Thursday 30 October 2014 at 7 pm.

We often talk about transformation processes in business organizations linked to the world of technology, industry and construction, but institutions in the world of sport and entertainment are often considered differently as regards their management: they are mistakenly thought to belong to a very different area that is more subject to chance. The case of FC Barcelona, which Jordi Teixidó will discuss in this Open Talent session, is an example of how 10 years of a process of change in the organization is due to an appropriate and carefully studied planning of projects, which is a distinguishing feature that can lead to the success of any organization.

Jordi Teixidó is a consultant specializing in Project Management who aims to help companies and professionals achieve their goals through the values, processes and techniques of project management. He combines teaching on master's degree and postgraduate courses at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), with providing support for companies and individuals who want to improve their Project Management skills and processes.
