Architect by Universidad Autónoma de Baja California and Master's degree in Urban Management and Valuation from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Associate lecturer at the Department of Architectural Technology of the ETSAB, researcher at the Land Policy and Valuations Centre at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, and a member of the Quality of Urban Life and Sustainability research group. Esteban Noguera, Juli
Architect, Doctor Honoris Causa by the UPC (2011) for his long career in urban planning. He participated in the drafting of the General Metropolitan Plan of Barcelona and was the director of the Urban Planning Services of the metropolitan institutions of Barcelona (1983-1992). He directed the City Planning Office of Barcelona (1992-2004) and the Territorial Planning Program of the Generalitat de Catalunya (2004-2010). He is director of the Doctorate Course in Urban and Architectural Management and Valuation, a unique programme in Spain as it combines the economic, legal, social and environmental processes that underlie the planning of the city and the territory. He is the author of numerous articles related to the real estate economy, the analysis of territorial structures and the city. His most well-known books focus on the theoretical analysis of the formation of land value and on the practical application of valuation methods. Dr Roca is a national and international benchmark in the valuations field, and especially those related to urban management processes. He has been a Spanish pioneer in teaching valuations at the postgraduate level since the appearance of master's degree courses in the early 1980s.
