An Open Class is to be held at 06:00 PM on tuesday 28-11-2023 on continuing education master's degree in Additive Manufacturing (Blended learning).

En esta sesión se explorarán las aplicaciones transformadoras de la fabricación aditiva en entornos hospitalarios. Analizaremos casos de éxito específicos en los que la impresión 3D ha redefinido la fabricación de dispositivos médicos, contribuyendo así a avances notables en la atención médica. Además, examinaremos los perfiles emergentes de ingenieros que están surgiendo en este campo y discutiremos las habilidades y conocimientos clave.

Durante la sesión, se examinará esa la intersección entre la ingeniería y la medicina, ofreciendo una perspectiva informada sobre el papel de la fabricación aditiva en la evolución del futuro de la salud.

El ponente

Marcel Macarulla. Director de la Cátedra UPC-HP y director académico del máster en Fabricación Aditiva de la UPC School.

Doctor e Ingeniero Industrial por la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Máster en Construction Project Management por la UPC. Profesor agregado del Departamento de Ingeniería de Proyectos y de la Construcción de la UPC. Ha liderado la implantación de metodologías agile de gestión de proyectos y las tecnologías de fabricación aditiva en las titulaciones de la Escuela Superior de Ingenierías Industrial, Aeroespacial y Audiovisual de Terrassa (ESEIAAT).
