El próximo martes 9 de junio de 2015, entre las 9h y las 14h, tendrá lugar un symposium en Smart Rural Grids en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Industrial de Barcelona (ETSEIB). La sesión, que se enmarca en el proyecto europeo Smart Rural Grid, está organizada por KIC Innoenergy MSc. SIN and MSc. Smart Cities y el CITCEA-UPC, coorganizador del máster en Enertrónica y del máster en Mecatrónicade la UPC School.

Este symosium tiene como objetivo analizar a fondo la evolución de las actuales redes de distribución rurales hacia las llamadas redes rurales inteligentes, haciendo hincapié en las tecnologías que hacen posible esta transición (telecomunicaciones, convertidores y sistemas de almacenamiento ) y los nuevos modelos de negocio que genera el surgimiento de las redes inteligentes. Todos estos temas serán tratados desde diferentes perspectivas, tant de la industria como del mundo académico y de la investigación.
