El jueves 26 de mayo, a las 15:30 h, el CITM organiza un seminario que se retransmitirá en streaming dedicado a abordar los diferentes trabajos de investigación y divulgación que se han realizado en torno a los beneficios de los videojuegos desde el punto de vista del bienestar psicológico, físico y social. También se mostrarán trabajos de profesionales de la industria que han desarrollado videojuegos y aplicaciones gamificadas en el ámbito sanitario.

Programa:

- 15:30 h - 15:45 h: Bienvenida e introducción a cargo de Carles Sora, director del CITM, y Marta Fernández, coordinadora del grado en Diseño y Desarrollo de Videojuegos del CITM.

- 15:45 h - 16:45 h: Bloque: VIDEOJUEGOS Y BIENESTAR PSICOLÓGICO

Ponencias:

    • "Beneficios y peligros cognitivos de los videojuegos", a cargo de Pablo Barrecheguren, doctor en Neurociencias por la UB, autor de Neurogamer (2021, Ed. Paidós) y responsable de los proyectos audiovisuales de divulgación científica Neurocosas (2017), Neuropíldoras (2018) y Biocosas (2022).
    • "Nuevas tecnologías como coadyuvantes en el tratamiento de trastornos relacionados con el control de los impulsos", a cargo de Lucero Munguía, doctora en Psicología Clínica y de la Salud por la UAB, investigadora en la Unidad de Adicciones comportamentales, y en la Unidad de Trastornos de la Conducta Alimentaria, del departamento de Psiquiatría, del Hospital Universitario de Bellvitge (Grupo de investigación: Psiconeurobiología de los trastornos alimentarios y conductas adictivas).

    • "Rehabilitation Gaming System: uso de tecnologías de videojuegos para el desarrollo de una solución clínica de neurorehabilitación", a cargo de Pedro Omedas, ingeniero informático con posgrado en diseño y creación de videojuegos por la UPC. Profesor del CITM y CTO de Eodyne Systems (spinoff de la UPF).
    • "Videojuegos y salud digital en pacientes con cáncer de mama", a cargo de M. Ángeles Fuentes, investigadora tecnológica del proyecto Horizon2020 ASCAPE (Fundación iSYS internet), doctoranda en Ingeniería Biomédica por la UPC y profesora en la UPC.
    • "Videojuegos y ciencia ciudadana: nuevas fronteras de la investigación científica", a cargo de Luca Carrubba, doctor en Digital Arts por la UB, y codirector de ARSGAMES, entidad internacional dedicada a la innovación social con tecnología y, especialmente, videojuegos.

    • "Videojuegos y wellbeing: beneficios sociales de los juegos de rol masivos online", a cargo de Joan Pons, doctorando en Game Studies por la UOC y profesor del CITM.
    • "Raising good gamers", a cargo de Arana Shapiro, directora de Games for Change y exdirectora del Institute of Play (Nueva York).
  • 19:45 h - 20:00 h: Clausura del seminario.
