What are the Employment Help grants?

We present a new edition of the Employment Help grants - a programme that offers unemployed professionals grants to take lifelong learning programmes at the UPC. This year's grants are aimed at people with a strong professional curriculum vitae who are currently out of work.

With this initiative, we are backing qualified professionals who need some support to boost their career. The aim is to help them grow their talent through programmes by adapting to the market's demands, directly enhance their professional employability.

The Employment Help grants can cover a percentage of the registration fee for a selection of lifelong learning programmes.

Who can apply for this grant?

Anyone who meets these two requirements:

  • Being unemployed when applying for the grant.
  • Being admitted to the programme for which the grant is applied for (they must have received the admission letter).

When can it be applied for?

The application deadline is 7 calendar days before the start of each training programme.

Award of the grants

The number of Employment Help programme grants is limited. Awards will be subject to an evaluation process by an Awards Tribunal, which will determine the beneficiaries of the grants and the amount allocated.
